These are a few questions that we get a lot, so here are those answers. If there is a question that you have and you do not see it here feel to contact us! No question is to ridiculous, we are here to serve you!

DJ FAQ's

How do you handle bookings?

Give us a call or fill out a Contact form to see if we are available on your date. Fill out the Contract that we enclose in an email and return one signed copy with your deposit. Keep a copy for your records. You may pay by check or credit card for a small fee. Once we get the the signed Agreement and your deposit, we will reserve your date and time and send you a Confirmation email. In your confirmation email you will recieve a Username and Password for our online event planning software. Final payment is due at the end of the event. Please make checks payable to Autumn Falls Productions. 

Who Chooses the Music for my Event? 

 

We usually ask that our client make a list of music you definitely want played, and music you definitely do not want to hear. Or if you say "I don't know what will make people dance? Can you choose the music?" Sure! Our trained professionals will "read" the crowd and choose the mucic based on what your guests' respond to, we have the experience to make your event unforgetable!

How long before an event should I book a DJ?
 

 Book your DJ as soon as you book your hall. Some people book theirs before they have a hall booked "They feel the Entertainment is the most important part!"  In some cases the price can change if wait till the last minute to book. Remember, booking a DJ is like booking a catering hall or photographer, the really good and popular ones are booked very early. 

How should my entertainers dress?

If it is a formal event we will typically wear a black or white dress shirt, formal black vest, black pants and a tie.  We believe it is important for us to look professional during the event.  If the event is less formal we will dress accordingly.

Should I tip my DJ?​

 

As in any service industry, tips are always appreciated and a nice way of showing your satisfaction with the services rendered. If you choose to tip, the average is 15-20%.

How do you price your DJ services?​

 

Every event we play is unique so we create packages to reflect the unique needs of each function.  Price varies based on a few important factors. The factors that dictate price are the dates, how long you want us to perform, and  the equipment that you need.  Simply call or email us to discuss your needs, then we will put together a custom package to fit your exact needs. The packages shown are just a base starting point that we add to, to make your event unique to you.

Do you have an insurance policy?
 

Yes we do, we are fully insured. Most venues will not let us walk in the door with-out an insurance policy. This is important because if an accident happens at your event, you may be held liable. Also, some venues may want to be added as an additionally insured, check with your venue and let us know ASAP, because this may take up to a week to get them on the policy. 

Do you offer a written contract?

 

Absolutley, infact we wouldn't do business without a written contract! Our contract is pretty straightforward and it's the final step when booking with us.

How do I access the song list and event planning profile? 

 

You can access the song request system and our party planning software online under Client Center. For your convenience, we set up an account for you. Your username and password can be found in your price quote and/or confirmation e-mail or contact us. 

 

What if we want a song that is not on your list?

 

With over 10,000 songs and growing, our music library is quite extensive. However, if we don't have a song (or songs) you would like, just e-mail us a list with the song name and artist and we will get it for you. In the rare instance we are unable to locate the song you request, we will ask you to provide it on CD or mp3.

When will my Disc Jockey arrive at my event and are there any setup or breakdown fees?

 

Our DJ's will arrive an hour or hour and a half prior to the start time of your event. This allows sufficient time to unload, setup and sound check. There is no charge for travel time, setup or breakdown, our packages are all inclusive.

What forms of payment do you take?

We accept Cash, Checks, or Credit Card.
